To incentivize and secure Ocean’s community, the Bug bounty program is added with a reward of 100,000 USD for critical bugs found. </li><li>In March, Ocean Protocol (OCEAN)’s value spiked 84.6%, ahead of the launch of Ocean V4 in Q2. The price rose from 0.40 USD on March 7, 2022, to 0.748 USD on March 21, 2022, according to Cointelegraph Market Pro and TradingView.</li><li>There were three reasons for the uptrend of OCEAN coins, including the launch of Ocean V4, new projects of Ocean Protocol, and an expanding partner base for the platform&#8217;s ecosystem in the future.</li><li>OceanDAO&#8217;s 16th round is now available. 200,000 OCEAN was given to the community, and the entry deadline for the grant ended on 5 April 2022. Ocean Protocol proficiently integrates the idea of <a href=\"/learn/what-is-dex/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Decentralized Exchange (DEX)</a> with data, enabling people and businesses to tokenize data and freely exchange it on the platform.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of 2017, Ocean Protocol has launched Ocean Market as an intermediary between sellers (individuals and businesses) and &#8216;buyers&#8217; who own data to facilitate the exchange of information. There are two types of data sales on the platform:  <br>1. sales of data ownership <br>2. sales of proprietary data, in which the publisher retains ownership of the data.</li><li><strong>Data Consumers: </strong>buyers who can actively browse the market for data needed and then use DataToken to access the data.</li><li><strong>Ocean Market: </strong>a data marketplace where data publishers and data consumers meet. It also provides a data distribution service where users can monetize and stake their data for revenue.</li></ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, all data in Ocean Protocol <a href=\"/learn/nft-minting-explained/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">will be minted</a> as ERC-721 data NFTs, with access granted through ERC-20 data tokens.</p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"/learn/what-is-amm-automated-market-maker/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Automated Market Maker (AMM)</a> is also used by Ocean Protocol. It makes trading on DEX as seamless as possible by allowing buyers and sellers to either price their data themselves or let the market do it automatically. The details are briefly stated as follows:</p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Data-exchange products:</strong> Ocean Protocol will launch Ocean V4 to introduce Data NFTs and address <a href=\"/learn/rug-pull/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rug pull issues</a>. In particular, this upgrade will include Smart Contract for its testnet and the Bug Bounty program, as earlier mentioned.</li><li><strong>Staking products: </strong>To strengthen the staking system in 2022, Ocean Protocol will add H2O stable assets, Ocean Data Farming, and veOcean to give more possibilities for its community to gain from staking.</li><li><strong>OceanDAO: </strong><a href=\"/learn/what-is-defi-yield-farming/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The yield-farming activities</a> will be introduced as a new source of Ocean Protocol Foundation (OPF)’s treasury with the aim of community profits.
